Happy April! We hope our newsletter finds your well. Please read below for all of the exciting events we have planned in April:

Our wine club pick up events will be on Sunday, April 21st and Sunday April 28th. The winery will be closed to the general public on these days.

We will be bottling wine on April 18th and April 29th and need volunteers to help. This is an excellent way to learn more about how your favorite Ab Astris wines go from grape to glass and be part of the process. Please be on the lookout for an email with more details and information on how to sign up later this week.

If you are interested in tasting wines in an intimate setting with our winemaker, please book soon as we do not offer this elevated experience during harvest. Mike offers these on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month at 1:00 and 3:00 for up to eight guests at each seating. This experience can be booked on our website.

We are thrilled to be one of many featured wineries at three upcoming events in Johnson City, Austin, and Houston. Please read below for information on all three Texas Wine events:

Join us for an evening of Hill Country Wine in Houston!  Texas Hill Country Wineries is bringing 20+ wineries and 60 wines from the Hill Country to the Houston area for an evening tasting experience.  Come meet winery personalities including owners, winemakers, vineyard managers and more at The Peach Orchard. 
Guests will experience Texas Hill Country wines at a walk-around tasting from 5:30-8pm featuring hand picked wines from each participating winery.  You'll learn about what's happening in the vineyard, taste new wines and meet the heart and soul behind the Texas wineries right in your backyard. Join us for our third annual Texas Wine Auction on Saturday, May 4th at 6 PM in Johnson City, Texas. Featuring live music, out-of-this-world cuisine presented by award-winning chefs, a dazzling assortment of Texas wine auction lots, and top winemakers from all over Texas ready to share their best wines, it'll be a night to remember! This “sip & stroll” style event features wine samples from some of Texas’ best wineries. Stop and chat with the winemakers, enjoy paella and Texas BBQ, and bid on our fantastic silent auction packages.  This event is always a good time, and this year will not disappoint!
